Original Message   Dec 7, 2013 8:06 pm
Hey everyone,
I started a Snowbird webpage earlier this year, and I just added some new updates:

http://1stclass.mylargescale.com/scottychaos/snowbird/index.html

It's very much a "work in progress"..
thanks,
Scot

How do these snowblowers perform? These look very strong and rugged. The link below is an example of Snowbird in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPdDTNKA4WE

They look like they work slow and steady.  More like a snow pump rather than a snowblower.

Those augers are running real slow compared to today's snowblowers.  Discharge distance is short and spread out.  Modern snowblowers have much tighter streams and much taller chutes.
