What's under the Welsch Plugs?

If you've ever wondered that.  Here is a look.
This carb is off a Tecumseh 8 or 10 Hp engine.
The 5 and 7 Hp carbs would be basically the same.

Nice graphics with good info. Of the many sites I've gone through about carbs over the years I think your group of photos and explanations are the best I've seen.

Yes, very good photos. Those plugs are there to cover a "connecting chamber" that is need to join two passages that can't be drilled straight through. the chambers should be well sealed so it's important that you take some care to install the new plugs properly.
