Sherri, Most of my stuff is already ready; however I want to put a starter kit on my mower, and do the tuneup. I prefer to do it outside so in S.E. Pa probably late March or April. If we have late cold I will do it in the garage but if I don't have my stuff out of the garage at night ,my wife will have me out in the shed all night! Part of the marrige continuation program involves keeping the Lexus inside, regardless of the location of my John Deere....

Sherri: When is the best time to bring my mower in? At what point are you done for the most part servicing snow blowers but not yet inundated with mowers, trimmers, etc? I live up here in CT by the way.

Paula, You know...if I put my fishing rod, hammock, and tv in the shed I might be able to do o.k. A QUIET night sleep, morning fishing in my pond, and NASCAR at noon! |

Sherri, I prepare mine in the fall when I put them away. Change oil, lubricate, sharpen the blade, clean out the deck, wipe/wash them down and drain the fuel and or run the carbs dry. Just have to give them a final check in the spring, maybe lubricate a few areas, gas them up, and go. In theory anyway.
