I have a friend, did not know that he has a Ariens 1128LE blower(bought new October 2003) till today. My question is, since he does not have a computer, does his model need the Chute Mod and or the R3 upgrade? Fred

MM, Thanks!! Rob, Thanks! He lives in Wilmington, Delaware, so I can not see it. Also, can not ask him as he is on the way to his daughters home in North Carolina. Fred

If his six digit model # starts with 924___ (which I am almost certain it does) then he does not have a drive system that in any way needs to be concerned with r3 upgrade. Ben07
