If the price is right i say Yay. wonder how the motor got blown and if he was hard on the trans also.

you can buy the honda clones at harbor freight for 99 dollars. With a coupon or if you catch a sale (I never seem to catch on when I need one) but the last regular price I had for a 6 1/2 hp was just under $200. + the extended no questions asked exchange warranty.
