All Honda power equipment products (including snowblowers) have a warranty that may be transferred to a new owner. All you do is call Honda Customer Relations with the frame serial number and give them the new owner details. (770) 497-6400
The Fine Print:•
2-stage snowblowers sold on or after 1/1/2010 have a
3-year warranty. This applies to both private residential and commercial/rental operators.
•
Single-stage snowblowers sold on or after 1/1/2010 have a
24 month warranty (private residential/consumer) and 3 month warranty for commercial/rental operators.
• Keep in mind what the warranty covers or doesn't cover. For example, if the previous owner left untreated fuel in the tank for a long time and it gummed up the carburetor, a repair/cleaning or replacing the carburetor is not covered under warranty.
• You can see the warranty document here:

• Honda asks for personal information when registering in case Honda needs to contact you regarding an update or product recall. Honda does not use your personal information to sell or market anything to you, unless you opt-in first. Note the default is to opt-out.
Caveat: I work for Honda, but the preceding was my opinion alone.
