These are great photos, thanks for posting them.
So it looks like the output shaft is not offset like on the earlier generation.
What is in the large retangular box that hangs below the handlebars? Is that the battery?
Any thoughts on how the design deals with circulating air in the enclosure give the fact that the engine is air cooled?
Do you feel up to taking apart the flywheel clutch thingy so we can see how it all goes together?
Any video yet? Nudge nudge. Ok, I can guess I can be a bit of a nudge.
My wife already thinks I am nuts taking pictures of it
A video is likely not going to happen, maybe in February, when it warms up.
The Large Box below the Handle Bars is were the Battery is housed.
Air comes in through the Vents above the Muffler, looks like this allows them to warm the air a touch. The muffles exhausts downwards.
It is interesting that they use an air filter, not really required in snow blower applications.
I don't think I will be taking apart the clutch, while it is still under warranty. I will inspect it next time, see if I can work on it without affecting Warranty.
It comes with two years Warranty, so I don't want to get dinged if anything happens that I need service. Which from my experience with Yamaha, is very unlikely!
