First Oil Change on Yamaha YS928J
Original Message   Jan 24, 2011 9:19 pm

I was asked to post pictures of the first oil change, so here they are:

Oil was a bit dirty, after about 7 hours use, did get a full liter out, so doesn't appear to use any, at this point.

I did not have to take all the covers off, only did to see/show what is under the hood

There are Rubber engine mounts to reduce vibration. Also rubber and foam seals, which kept the inside very clean, and reduce noise. My neighbour can not believe how quite it is.

Oil Drain and Fill Side:

Carb and Muffler Side:

Front Shot:

Just to Remember what it looks like together:

It was nice to see what was under the hood, the workmanship is Outstanding.

I ops manual gives all the Torque settings, for all the Bolts, including cover bolts, so I was able to install everything back to to specs.

I am very impressed with the attention to detail that went into building this unit.

I like the blue blower every time I see it. Is that the price tag still hanging right below the right grip? ;)

Just the Serial Number written on a tag, on the key!  They don't put the prices on these things, like buying a car, they give you the pitch, then drop the bomb!!

Your Yamaha makes oil  change FUN and beautiful.  My oil change was simple and uneventful without any beauty unlike yours.

Is that RUST around the spout in the second picture?  Look like you been neglecting that machine.  Can't give much for a machine in this condition but I'll take it off your hands for, say, $2100

Your nuts!!! 2100, PULLLEASEE,

Being that there are none left in Saskatchewan, I would expect full MSRP, plus another $500 for testing and confirmation that it can do the Job

BY the way, thats is just residue and staining from welding the muffler.

I can give you $2150 in Canadian if you like.   What time should I stop by to pick it up?  I can leave now and be there by 7AM.

OMG, those pictures!   Those pictures of your beauty totally uncovered...   Sorry, hard to concentrate.   Would you sell...I mean like...how much for an 8 x 10 glossy of the third photo?
