I am fixing a friends snow blower  ( a few years old) , the bronze worm gear is toast . looks like someone replaced the shear bolts with normal grade 8 bolts   lmao

anyone have a lead on where to get the gear ?

I can get  JD snowblower parts from the local John Deere dealer here..  Best to get all the info off the blower (ie serial number for the blower, model number, engine data and anything else on it) and take it in to the dealer - he should be able to fix you up with the right part.
