Anyone have a special cap or hat that they wear while throwing snow? I use this one Stormy Kromer. My gal said it looks like an Elmer Fudd hat. I told her thats why I like it!! This puppy is warm.

Steve did you post new videos this year? If so I missed it.
Yes we did, but only a few. This next storm will be starring my lovely asawa. So far 6-10 inches predicted. Plus if schools are cancelled she will get the day off. Her boss said not to call if schools are closed just don't go in. I have the day off anyway, so all day to take vids.
I also spoke with GoPro today and "unofficailly" their LCD Bacpac a screen so you can actually see what your GoPro is shooting is supposed to be released within a couple of weeks! can't wait for that! There are the vids we took this year. Awful blowing snow so my wife couldn't use the Toro. You can look up all the new vids under SteveCebu on YouTube. We have a few subscribers now. The new vids were posted on Dec 27th. I can't wait until we get the new HD camcorder but deciding between 3 models that will be out in March so probably too late for snowblowing. We will use the GoPro tho. I wonder how a snowblower will look through a fisheye lens? I wanna try out the 720p60p and see how well it can do slo-mo. Anyway here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u66VEMXQtPA

Hey steve nice vids. Man you have one longggggggg driveway.. I like your wifes hat,it's diff, then mine. I think I need a black one like that, she has full ear muffs on her's.. I here that go pro camera is great.
Thanks, I just wish more people voted a thumbs up with them. Our driveway is 220 feet long from the garage door to the end.
I forget where she got her hat, it's super warm tho. The flaps come down around and go under your chin. My dad got a blue one like that at JC Pennys a few years back when he still lived up here. He doesn't need one in Florida tho. I wanted one as my Bruins hat gets soaked after I'm done and I sometimes need another hat. Goober hats are real warm. Most hunting stores carry them. GoPro is incredible. I'm thinking of how I can mount it on the snowblower. I want a vid of the auger spinning around and eating the snow.

I always wear my old cowboy hat I've had since the early 70's. Whenever a gust of wind blows some back at me I just lower my chin and the brim keeps it off. I normally don't worry about earmuffs or a face mask unless I'm going to be out for a very long time, usually if we've had a heavy snow it means it's not real cold. Nice hat,but with that cowboy hat a winchester rifle would go nice straped right to side of your snow machine..
