Latest try at chute deflector motorizification
Original Message   Jan 3, 2011 8:35 pm
Here are a couple of photos of my latest try at chute deflector motorization. I'm using a wiper motor from a 1999 volks jetta, running from a 6 volt battery. The 6 volts allows it to run a little slower.
It's still a little too big to my eye, but better than my previous effort. The output shaft of the motor is lined up with the center line of the two pivot bolts. The bolt on the motor side has been removed for clearance.

The movie version is on YouTube here

Cheers

The results look good. Does your machine already have a battery/alternator setup?
