I have an AMF Polar Bear snow blower and just replaced the worn friction disk with an Ariens # 00170800 and works great.  All I had to do was center it on old one and then drill mounting holes

Nice to hear new parts can be re-purposed to make old machines work like new once again.

I've been looking for this for my 1362, do you know your model #?  I tried this once before and it was way too small for my machine.  Based on the photos and descriptions on-line, looks like it might work for me.
