Blowing through 40 feet of snow!

I couldn't believe these pictures of the snow in Japan I saw the other day , and today jalopnik put up a youtube video (at bottom) of how they blow that 40 feet of snow. All it comes down to is a huge backhoe followed by a huge blower. The video of them cleaning it up is at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8gLFJG6UpY Pretty damn impressive, my 26" 250cc feels somewhat inadequate now.
Enjoy! -Dan

So, where's the machine that supposedly cleared the path? It would need a chute 50 or 60 feet tall. Something fishy about those pics. He posted the link in his post. Here it is.

WOW!!! I would be nervous walking through those cuts :-) So would I! I've had vertical cuts in 4' walls collapse, I don't know how those things stay up if you put any snow on top of them.
Who the hell let all the morning people run things?
