Has anyone replaced a TEC Dual shaft engine with a Single Shaft Engine on a Snowblower
Original Message   Nov 27, 2010 2:06 pm
I have a Craftsman with Tracks vs the wheels I lost the 8-hp Tec Dual shaft engine. I can buy a 100% new single shaft engine for $100 What are the main issues with installing a single shaft engine in place of the dual shaft.

If you are getting paid for what you are doing No matter how much you Enjoy it,   It's a Job

The second shaft for the drive spins backwards and at half speed.
