"going away" of the two-strokes
Original Message   Nov 19, 2010 10:19 am
As much as I love a 4-stroke, there is no denying that a 2S on a smaller blower is such a good thing and will be a loss when the tree huggers get their way at the end of the season (at least for Toro, I'm told).

My question is that I'm wondering if the 2S production is stopping or is it that they are just not able to manufacture a unit with a 2S on it?

I.E.  I know the existing units can be serviced but can you actually buy replacement 2S engines in the future?

2011 Ariens Pro 28; Toro 210R, older Powerlite and a generic single stage w/ Tec. engine.

God Bless America!
