Honda EU2000AI compression ring stuck.....
Original Message   Oct 9, 2010 7:10 pm
Have you had any problems with your Honda EU2000AI?   I Just took apart a buddy's that had about 250 hours on it..   While running fine it started to sputter / spit smoke.    Turns out that the motor stuck the top ring and was letting horrible blow-by  in the case,  pushing oil out the vent into the intake... It appears to me that carbon made the top compression ring stick in he groove at one spot  (no wear on the motor yet)....

Anybody have a manuel that says what the torque on the rod and case bolts are?

Thanks,

Friiy
