Stihl 340 Backpack Blower
Original Message   Apr 16, 2010 10:54 am
Has anyone found an additive that effectively cleans the carburetor on a small 2 cycle engine. As usual, the 340 is running rough at the beginning of the season despite having been stored without fuel in the tank over the winter. Thanks in advance for your help.

I use Seafoam in all my OPE. Makes a big difference in terms of running smoothly and keeping carbon build up and gum deposits to a minimum. I use it as a fuel stabilizer and conditioner.
