VAPOR LOCK? non vented cap/Echo 210e
Original Message   May 13, 2010 1:40 pm
I have an Echo 210e blower that runs great as long as the gas cap is loose. If I tighten it up & it seals, the blower will stall out in less than a minute. Can anyone help me with this. Thank you for any suggestions. Tony.

I looked up the parts list from Echo & it shows a vented gas cap. I got this blower from a friend & he said he wasn't sure if the cap was original. I'll get a new one & see if that works.

The cap is vented,  the parts are cap, check valve vent, check valve holder, and gasket...  The parts are very expensive unless you can find a after market..
