I'd have to give say they both throw about the same distance. They both throw well although the Honda did bog with slushy EOD stuff and it just stopped throwing so I used the tool to clear the chute. The Toro has munched through much thicker slush without clogging at about the same speed. We've had mostly heavy wet snow this year. The Toro recirculates the snow with it's auger and I've even let off on the auger when the Toro was full of snow because of a buried limb and the Toro just blasted the heavy stuff right out when I grabbed the auger lever again. I'm not sure why the Honda clogged, it was going straight and I guess it must have been going too fast? I tend to go slow when I blow because I want it right down to the pavement and the extra 10 minutes is worth having a cleaner driveway. I just don't see the Toro as being half the snowblower that the Honda is, but it is twice the price. The Toro quick chute is a joy to use and combined with the dual skid steer it's very easy and balanced to use. I'd like to see the smaller Hondas with dual skid steer especially their tracked models.
