Loctite Threadlocker worked for me
Original Message   Feb 11, 2010 5:41 pm
On my snow blower, I have a few screws and nuts that seems to work loose as I'm blowing.  This season, I put loc-tite (the blue oily/greasy stuff) and despite my skepticism, it does really work.  Easy to apply (squirt a little on the thread), tighten as usual, and it won't work loose.   The only downside is that it's expensive (a few bucks for a tiny tube), but you don't use much.

The blue stuff does not need heat to remove.  I have not verified that yet ;)

Still, it saved me cold hands these few storms.  And no, I am not affiliated with the company.
