I own a Xantrex  xPower1500 electronic generator.Does anyone know if it can be charged with a portable generator.I called the tech dept and he was as helpful as a snowblower with a broken shear pin in a blizzard.....

   the Xantrex won't care what the source is.  As long as the generator can source its requirements the Xantrex will be fine.  It's just a lead acid battery.
