I have just come into a snowblower and it is a Brute 521 (5 horse, 21 inch)

The impeler doesn't throw the snow very far.  I took it apart to check everything out and tune it up.

The impeler bearings are very good still, but the belt looks a little worn.  I am looking for a new belt ... does anyone know which belt will work for this blower?

Does anyone know any history on this model or where I could get a manual for it?

Get the model number off the back base of your machine.

For a belt just measure the belt on the inside and go to any hardware store that has outdoor equipment belts.  Bring the belt with you.
