The snowblowers that are in the stores right now, that arrived in the Autumn of 2009..
are these considered the "2009" model year machines? or 2010 model year machines?
I would assume they are considered 2009 models..
the 2009 machines are built during the spring and summer of 2009, and go on sale in the autumn of 2009..
if you happen to buy one in February of 2010, its still a 2009 model..
and the actual 2010 models wont be built until next spring and summer, and wont "hit the stores" until the Autumn of 2010..
that seems the most logical to me..
or..do snowblowers follow the automobile convention?
where new autos in the showrooms right now are the 2010 models?
since winter spans two calender years every winter, it gets confusing!
I have googled the question, and have found people using both ways, 2009 and 2010..
I found some sites that say things like "come in and see the new 2010 models"..
referring to current snowblowers..(oddly, its only Canadian dealers seem to be referring to 2010 models, no one else..strange...)
other sites say "the 2009-2010 models"..referring to one "winter season"..this isnt helpful! ;)
anyone know?
thanks,
Scot
