honda hs520a snowblower
Original Message   Oct 19, 2009 11:56 am
Hi guys,
I have a honda 520 snowblower that I want to sell, its four years old and its just like new yet. The best price I have gotten is 300.00 by a dealer trading it in. I would like to get one with electric start. Is that a good price? Thanks!

Not from what I know. I just helped purchase one for my church and we got cost at $590. If you have only had it for 4 years, you should have no concern asking for $450 or $500 I know they are going for $700 or so. Your only concern is do you have the patience to attempt to sell it yourself, it is NOT a used car, and anyone looking for one will be very interested in it at that price

The reccomendation that we used is for a guy on our building and grounds and he uses one when he plows his rentals. It is small enough to throw in and out of his 4X4 F-350 but still strong enought to go throught any junk that is in its way.

That is just my skewed opinion. Look at Craigslist and see if you can even find one to compare it to, and then you will see how few and far between they are and you should have no problem asking and getting $500. The secondary market on them is scarce and they are quality machines...

Again, just my opinion

Check Craig's list and Ebay for your area... See what they have been sold for and the discription of how they look/work.... That's always the going price, But you might want to wait for the first snow for a better price..

Look on Ebay for "completed items" listings of your item...

Good Luck,

Friiy
