Impeller kit....question
Original Message   Oct 14, 2009 3:43 pm
Hey I am just throwing this out... Do you think the power used or stress on the system of a impeller kit is any worst than the stress or strain on the system of unthrown snow in an unmodified unit during use?

Seems to me stiring snow at those speeds (unejected snow in a unmodified unit) may drop efficiency/ power on its own...

I'd say h.p. loss is minimal. Effective USE of horsepower might be compromized. However, that would depend on how sloppy the tolerance is between the impeller and housing.
