snowblower specs.,does anyone know......
Original Message   Oct 5, 2009 5:16 pm
Well I guess according to snowmann, Ariens has the biggest, baddest, thickest parts of all snowblowers in its category.Where does he get the specs? And where could the average Joe get those specs??Borat and AA I guess Simplicity and Honda have fallen from the top of the heap lol.Move over there's only room for Ariens..."The King of Snowblowers" roarrrrr.....Isnt he (Snowmann)an engineer for Ariens??hmmm a little bias towards Ariens??

You can get owners, parts and service manuals at this page:

http://apache.ariens.com/cgibin/ctrg0005?SESSIONID=28702a3ad72bf4c0aa733c4cb825206b&site=arienss

They will have the generic spec's but not detailed. If you want to know the impeller and auger speeds over the years for various models you have to hunt the manuals but will only be partially rewarded mostly in the newer manuals.

"Joe" could consider going to the local OPE dealers with a caliper, BFH, and a scale to measure them boys.

I don't consider any of the walkbehind snowblowers to be biggest and baddest. A Zaugg blower with a 600 hp diesel that chews through 12 foot concrete snow and ice pile is the baddest, then a railroad rotary blower would be second runner up.

Seriously, what's the point of this thread? Are you not happy with your Simplicity Pro because it doesn't have straight cut titanium gears and drop forged gear case?

Oh Im very happy w/my simp pro.Frame is great, has creeper speed, cast iron gear housing, power boost(throws snow very far)never stalls even when I stuff a ton of snow in the bucket and I doubt ariens is anymore reliable. And simp doesnt have to have a video showing how far their machine throws snow while comparing it to smaller snowblowers. How come Ariens wouldnt tell me the name and size of the other 2 machines in the video??Oh and ariens will never get the better B&S engine. That will be reserved for simp and snapper....
