How to replace spark plug wire -- not removable from magneto?
Original Message   Aug 10, 2009 6:53 pm
I have a 8hp B&S engine and need to replace a spark plug wire.  It doesn't appear to be removable from the magneto.  Do I have to replace the whole darned magneto armature?

Part according to the parts manual:

Anything I should know about doing this, like being careful to get the right gap, etc?

Thanks in advance,
Kirk

Got the part and popped it in.  One pull and the darn thing fired right up!!

Now I need to tune it up, as I'm having trouble getting the right mix and it's hard to start...

Thanks for the advice!
Kirk
