what would make a carb just let gas flow thru like a waterfall im guessing the float is stuck open or its totaly shot to heck any info will help engine size is 5 hp sport

you are on the right track.  remove carb inspect and post model number from engine.

631021b is the needle and seat kit you want. just check the float to see if there is a hole in it. good luck
