Flip the muffler over? On this Honda GX200 clone?
Original Message   Jan 8, 2009 1:23 pm
I want to flip the muffler over on this Honda GX200 clone.  If  I do, then the single stage snowblower can be reassembled with it 's plastic cover over the top (looks really sharp).  The blower runs fine with the muffler as it is but it just does not have that Honda pizzaz without the cover.  Unfortunately, when I flip the muffler over the exhaust port does not line up. The center of the port is offset between the two mounting holes (as shown in the photo below).  So if I were to flip it over they would no longer align with the exhaust port on the engine. When flipped over, the cover fits nicely.   Any ideas on this retrofit? I am sooo close.

Is this GX200 clone a direct bolt on to the stock GC160?  Any modifications to make it fit?
