John Deere 522 Impeller pulley
Original Message   Sep 24, 2008 11:44 pm
hi, i recently purchased an old john deere 522 snowblower. i noticed that the impeller pulley has about 3/8 of runout when i engaged it. i removed it and checked for possible cracks buy found none. i assume that it just got bent somehow. i'd like to replace it if anyone could possibly steer me to a supplier. apparently, because of it's age john deere doesn't  sell the part anymore. thx, chuck

try going to simplicity.com.  click  the tab for manuals.   type in 1692680   or  1690900.  these should be the same unit.   the john  deere models where made by simplicity.   you can also  check out  milacalawn.com   he give the parts smart program for free to look up parts.
