Gasoline with alcohol

I have a 2 stroke engine golf cart (not technically a power equipment), but was wondering if the alcohol blended gasolines may damage my engine. I presume the same concerns are issued for lawn mowers and trackers. Does anyone know if 10% alcohol will cause damage to a 2 stroke engine?
