I have a track drive MTD 8/26 for parts. I bought it for the motor to use on another project but it has the wrong shaft.... The only thing wrong with it is that the crappy aluminum gearbox is blown. If you have a spare gearbox, you could fix this up no problem. The motor runs excellent. it is an 8.5 hp tecumseh with electric start and an alternator. It has the stepped shaft. The transmission, tracks and drive system work great as well. I will trade for a running 1" shaft motor or $50. call mike at (857) 526 - six, zero, five, nine no emails please
