l have a 6.5 hp honda and was wondering if there is a kit available to convert an alternator on this engine,

 any help would be appriecated.

I think the parts are available individualy, the parts are expensive,   you are looking at a flywheel, stator, diode bridge, about $200 bucks in honda parts.. You would be better off finding a dead honda with that feature and buying it for the parts for 25-35 bucks..
