Does anyone know offhand that last year Honda made the HS521 model? I'm looking at a clean one, 5 hp ohv four stroke. The seller says it's approx. 5 years old, but from what I can find, it has to be older than that. Anyone know of any problems with this model? Any input is greatly appreciated.

I purchased my Honda HS521 A 5hp Snow Thrower back in 1989 and only needed it serviced once. The repairmen that helped me load it back on to my truck told me to hang on to this particular model because it was the older version, and better than the current model. Now bear in mind, this service was performed about 3 years ago and I don't know if they make this "newer version model" for 2007/2008. Coincidently my HS521 just broke 2 weeks ago, and I need an auger assembly (the whole dog gone axle with paddles ) snapped in half. After having this wonderful machine for 18 years I was disapointed to find that the new replacement auger assembly costs $405.00 . (thats just the part without labor). I think I paid $500.00 for this Thrower brand new. If anyone out there knows where I can find an auger assembly for less, please let me know.
