My brother in law recently purchased a snowblower from sears. The cables were not adjusted and the drive belt tensioner pulley was completely missing. I have heard that poor assembly is a common problem with machines bought from larger stores and you should really go over you're machine before picking it up regardless of brand. some snowblowers will require optional equipment to run in severe winter conditions.
