Toro 421 snow thrower mdl #38010
Original Message   Jan 2, 2008 7:13 pm
I just recently broke the impeller blade free from the shaft ( weld let go) on my Toro and can't find anything really usefull for repair work on a beast this old on the internet (i.e manuals and diagrams). What would be the best way to get to the shaft and impeller to reweld it back in place?

Pulling the chute off and going in from the top would probably be easiest.  Holding the impeller blade in place will be a bit of a challenge.  Might be able to wedge in into position tightly with a piece(s) of wood until the weld is made.
