Ariens ST-724 snow blower

Hi

i'm a new user and i need some help with my Ariens ST 724. it is currently not working and i don't get a spark. my gues is that i need a points and coil kit. where can i get it from?? model is 924048, and the serial # is 004206.

1. Have you changed spark plug?

2. check for damaged spark plug wire!

How old is your engine?  Points ignition went out in most engines by the late '70s to early '80s.

i changed the spark plug last week, but how do i change the spark plug wire?? it is part of the coil assembly

yes its part of the coil assembly, and you cant replace it without replacing the coil. if your engine has points/condensor u can buy them at your local small engine shop
