Ariens chute question

I have an Ariens 924050 ST824, the chute on it is a little short. It looks like some of the slightly newer models had a taller chute with one clue being the handle bracket to tilt is horizontal intead of verticle. Does anyone know if a taller chute can be fitted? It has the toothed drive ring.

Dennis, Clarence's kit turns a $#%* cat of a blower into a Snow Eating Tiger!! I just helped one of my friends install the kit on a used blower he bought to take up to his Ski Chalet in West Virgina! He left this AM for a West Virginia Christmas vacation!! Fred
