After a bit of research (mostly here... thanks everyone) I opted for the 924DLE. I was close to going w/ a 9526DLE Pro series... a few hundred more for the cast iron gearcase, drift cutters, hand warmers, and the OHV engine. But the 24" will work fine for me, and bringing the machine between my two cars will be much easier than the 29" Craftsman I got rid of. Not a huge driveway, but I get no melting on the front of my house, so I try to get everything out in the street. I also enjoy clearing out the neighbors. Looking forward to the automatic traction control for the turning. Others I considered were the Toro 1028 and the Simplicity, although the only local dealer of the latter stocks only the professional line.
Last year we had two storms over a two week span that totaled over 30". The Craftsman felt a bit spent after all the work. I'm looking forward to pushing the Ariens through anything Old Man Winter sends :)
