hey first time poster, i have an older model snowblower(craftsman) and my dad put a 7 or 8 horse tecumseh on it it needed a carb so i bought one of ebay model 5305 04E it doesnt have an idle ajustment and i think it is running to fast i dont wanna get pulled around lol is there any way of ideling it down or am i screwed ....thanks in advance

i think you have the wrong carb for that motor,if im not mistaken,you need a series 2 or 3 style carb.i could be wrong,but i have a 8 horse on my go cart that has one of them,if you really need too know ,let me know and ill look it up in my book,later dude,jag

Try going to the Tecumseh web site, you can get an owner's manual for your particular machine.

Do a search on this site and find the reference to the Tecumseh small engine manual, its also available for download.
