5 forward speeds, reverse, 24" wide, 2 stage impeller, 5 HP SNO-THRO Model #932006 - 932000 Series.
Last winter I had the carb./idle adjusted to fix this issue. This did not help. Could a belt need adjusting?
When I turn it on and start plowing, the slightest amount of snow in the auger will drop the engine rpms and the thing just cuts off.

You might want too get right on this thread.........Only 6 months away from first snow! Of course you will need too test run the machine too make sure the repair worked. Since snow is going too be a bit hard too find this time of year (July) may I suggest taking it down too the beach for a test spin? Sandcastles make an excellent substitute for a snowbank or EOD drift. (Be sure too bundle up well too avoid harmful UV rays.)  |
