I've seen a lot of 4 stroke leaf blowers, but the ones that vacuum/mulch as well seem to be only two stroke. Makita has a 4 stroke blower/vacuum (BHX2500) but they said it won't much the leaves up. I need the mulching capability as I have a LOT of trees on and around my property.

I have never tried this but I have heard that you can put your leaves in a large garbage can or a 55 gallon drum and use your weed wacker/string trimmer to beat it to a pulp. I can see why it would work.

I have a polan blower/mulcher with the bag but I too have a large property with lots of foilage and tried it once.It basicaly is a pain in the neck because the bags are very small and you need to keep dumping and you never get done.
