I have an older Ariens and the auger gearbox seems to have developed a problem. The impeller shaft is tuning fine all the way to the auger gearbox, but the auger has stopped tuning. I can move the auger freely with my hand and all shear pins are in tact. I started to remove the shaft, but I am stuck as to how to seperate it from the impeller shaft. I have done some searching on the net, but now at a loss - I may have started something that I can't finish
Any help would be greatly appreciated and would be glad to include pictures of the progress in hopes that it would help someone else in the future. I dragged and dropped some pics, but nothing showed up - sorry about being a newbie here. I'll figure the pic thing out
