Launboy, 5552L is the engine Spec, 555 says it's a HSK40 engine, other long number is it's serial number. Hope this helps!! Fred

Fred, thanks, I kind of thought that the one after the SER was the serial number, but my thoughts have now been confirmed. 'Lint, I sent you the e-mail hope you got it. Last night Took off the bowl, and the float was indeed stuck. Cleaned that out and put it back together, and guess what. No more gas out the vent hole!! I'm going to have to get a new seal for the bowl, becuase the one on there now it old and falling apart. When I pushed the primer though gas came out of somewhere on the back of the carb, didn't invetigate last night though, to cold, and my hands were getting numb. Adam

Went to my favorite little OPE shop today, and got the primer for the Toro CCR 1000. I also ordered a carb rebuild kit for the Snapper. Should be here sometime early next week. Adam
