i just bought a used 826 JD snowblower.
after cleaning the carbs it runs great at idle but at high speed it backfires . i adjusted the low and high speed needles an i am 100% shure it is not runniung lean. could it have something to do with the timing or governour? i put regular 87 in this machine. new plug. when i said backfiring i ment firing trough exhaust(mufler) Bang bang. also how much oil does this 8hp engine take? and wat grade . sea 10W30???
thanks
just want to be in shape before the snow comes.
