I have two riding mowers, and some all in pieces, I've got a fairly new homelite mower, no engine and front lights smashed, but the rest is there, tires good condition, belts, deck one blade is loose, then I have a Turf trac twin 16 horse power, it's a small tractor, but the deck arm is bent and never works right both front wheels need to be replaces, and rims,, two blades on deck, , starter motor won't turn my engine over, I had it running but starter motor  burnt, and seat has rips, and the steering is wonky,  poor thing, lol any sugjestions?

It is best to have two or more of the identical brand - with anything.

It would be nice if you can swap junk with another man, in the same boat....This really depends so much on what you like to do...

But this is no easy, nor quick task..May even be impossible..

Some of the "defects" mean nothing, others mean a little, you'll have to find out how much.

Do you have the $10,000 for a new mower ???? I am exaggerating, but this new stuff is very expensive....

If I had the money i'd have a new tractor lol these ones where all free, they came into my work  for junk, The turf trac had only a broken belt but more things broke on it, maybe it's because I pulled wheelies on it lol it did huge wheelies. I had a guy reply on a new motor for me, well used, and I saw a add for a tractor, it has another brand name but it looks the exact same.
