I have a yard about 200 deep with trees up and down the side as well as all along the back. Huge trees. Because the yard is big and trees are many, I’ll be running it probably an hour to an hour and a half at a time.

I know that the Echo PB-261L and Husqvarna 125BT are 25cc engines so not really fair to compare them with the 145 but was wondering if I really need the extra power of145BT.

Right now pricing for the 125 BT is $199. The Echo is $279 ($229 with rebate) and the 145 is $299.

Really just want to make sure that whatever I buy doesn’t die after a year or two.

Any comments welcomed.

I have a Echo 403@$299.00 I purchased it for the spring clean up and I was amazed at what power it has.My property is 190 X 200 with many trees including Oaks. I found that while this blower has guts you may need more than just a blower to get by. To give you an idea I had to bag about twenty five 55 gallon bags just in the spring. I just bought a used leaf blower with an 11 HP new motor for $300.00 and used it 2 weeks ago after the heavy wind and rain which took down a lot of leaves.While the back pack is great in the hard to reach spots like close to the house and around the bushes in the wide open space nothing compares to the full powered leaf blowers on wheels.

After I replied I went to the Homedepot web site and found reviews there(outdoor power equip.) on this particular model.Best of luck,Allan
