Check out this thing! It is for sale as we speak on craigslist (western mass). I love this old stuff. It is probably built tougher than nails. I'm thinking like pre WWII? Check out the vertical shaft engine and the beefy gears used to drive the tires. doesnt look like there is any chute rotation. This thing really needs to be in a museum. It makes my Ariens 1236 look like something that the girlscouts would use. Some fresh paint and a new plug.. I could be the envy of all  my neighbors.
