In your opinion, what is the best new riding mower for $2000 USD on the market?

Mowing about 1/2 acre.

If you are a good DIY or have a good relationship with a power equipment shop, buy "good used'..

Same as I do with about everything !

In other words, a used  $20K Caddy is better than a  new $20k Chevy.

Avoid Craftsman, IMO, they are not the name they used to be.

Go to a good lawn mower and equipment shop and see what they have..
