Broken Yardman Walk-behind Mower Axle pls help : - )

Hello, and thank you for reading this. I have a Yardman Walk-behind lawnmower, and it's been working great for me these past 5 years. Unfortunately, someone reversed and hit the front right wheel and broke it. I am trying to look for options on how to get this fixed, and if I can do it myself by just purchasing the part that would be great. I was wondering if anyone know how difficult/easy the task is, whether or not I should get it done professionally, and how much it will cost for a new axle. The wheel itself has a few broken plastic parts, so I don't think it is salvageable. If anyone out there can please help me out on this, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again. I don't mean to be a P.I.A. But the model number of the mower would help. If it is a front drive that uses a belt to drive it, that entire transmission costs about $30 and is pretty simple to change out. As the other person noted, the axle is about $15. If it is a rear wheel drive, they can be a pain to change out or repair. Carl
